Murata is the worlds biggest MLCC manufacture whose monthly output is 120 billion pcs and it constitute world’s 31% manufacturing capabilities. It’s MLCC is mostly used in the advanced market, such as automotive PCB board, commutation PCB board.

Due to the pandemic of COV-19, Murata factory in Fukui-ken stopped production. Early the factory in Philippine stop working 2 weeks ago. The two factories include 40% MLCC production capabilities.

The 5 factories monopoly 80% MLCC in the world. The biggest three factories are Murata, Samsung and Yageo. At the end of March, Yageo increase the price again, some parts increased by about 50%. Reports say that due to the worse situation of COV-19 in Japan and southeast asia, more MLCC manufacture will stop its’ production and price will increase again.
