1. Is Linked a PCB manufacture

Linked electronics is manufacturer specializing in high mixed, prototyping, low-volume to large volume PCB production and PCB Assembly. We have two factories, one for prototyping to medium volume. And one factory specializing in PCB mass production.

2. What files and documents do you request for my PCBA orders?

We need Gerber files or other PCB files, Centroid data( pick and place file) and BOM for your PCBA orders. For the best possible result, please also send assembly drawings, instructions and 3D photos or previous PCBA photos to avoid any ambiguous or mistaken placement of parts.

How Long does it take to quote the turn key PCB order.

Normally, it will be ready in 48 business hours.

3. How do you request for the shipping and marking of the parts for the consigned or kitted order?

Please do mark on all individual package or box with the corresponding line number on BOM, manufacturer’s part# or customer’s part#, quantities. Also please mark the Linked manufacturing # on the outer box.

4. What is your requirement on the parts overages for consigned/kitted PCBA?

Proper SMT machine setup and operation requires parts overages. Unused and excessive parts supplied will be returned by Linked Electronics with the assembled boards.

SMT parts which are not supplied on reels should be on one continuous strip of tape.

If you need to assemble the same SMT part in different boards, do not cut them into strips, please keep them in the continuous strip of tape or on the reels.

For resistors, capacitors and diodes, please provide 2 percent overage quantity.

A small number of excess(1-5 pieces based on the total quantity of assemblies) is requested for the expensive parts such as IC, BGA, QFP, Connectors, etc., this will ensure smooth assembling and shipping your assembled boards on time.

7.Can you source some parts for my assembly?

Yes, partial turn-key is accepted. You can supply some parts, and the rest parts be sourcing by Linked.

8. What about the excessive parts and unused ICs.

Linked will ask for some percentage of overage for consigned/kitted orders, we do understand that customer might have concern for the excessive parts. These excessive parts will be either shipped back to you or be kept at our facility for your next run.

9.What file formats do you accept for PCB production?

Gerber file: CAM350 RS274X

PCB file: Protel 99SE, P-CAD 2001 PCB

10.Do you meet Rohs or Reach compliant?

Yes, we do meet rohs and reach compliant for the PCB and PCBA manufacturing.

Are the IC genuine and original?

All ICs are bought from digikey, mouser, future, arrow and other IC platforms. That’s why it takes 2 weeks to get the parts.

11.What is your lead time on a Turn-key order?

All parts is sourced at Linked for Turn-key orders, the turnaround time depends on the time that we can get all the parts. Normally, it takes 2 weeks for us to get all parts, and another 3~4 working days for the assembly.

12. Why do I need to panelize my boards?

Panel for the PCB is recommended if your PCB dimension is smaller than 100mmx100mm, or if the PCB shape is irregular. You can panelize at your end, or send us the requirement. This will be easier for our PCB assembly.

13. What if courier company fails to deliver my PCBs as scheduled?

This does happen sometimes. If this happens, please contact your local courier service company( DHL or UPS) to expedite the delivery at your end if the parcel is in your local country. Though it is not our responsibility for the delay, we will endeavor to call courier company for updates. For lost packages, refabrication of the PCBs will be made and reshipped.

14. What the payment method do you accept.

We accept TT, paypal, L/C and western union.

Linked has bank account in most countries. Such as US. Netherland, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc, you can pay in your local currency and save the TT banking fee.
